Instagram head Adam Mosseri recently confirmed why carousels are such reach powerhouses: if someone swipes through your carousel but doesn’t finish it, the algorithm gives it a second life. It serves the post to them again later, picking up right where they left off to give them a second chance to complete it. (Catch Adam’s full clip here: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DBOeUmTSmIC/ ).
Because of this built-in algorithmic bonus, carousels are easily one of the highest-ROI formats you can post. The real challenge? Creating them quickly without burning hours you don't have.
That’s where a repeatable system saves the day:
Step 1: Uncover Pain Points. Use Gemini AI or ChatGPT to generate 15 real-time Q&A options tailored to your exact niche. I perform this query multiple times a month for each client I have. It is important that your content be helpful and relevant. Asking for "current pain points" as found on the top forums and reputable website "for your niche" will keep you up to date with current conversations. My structure suggestion is to ask for these Q&A to be delivered to you in table format making it easier to copy over to Canva.
Step 2: Design Fast. If you have not done so already select a template for carousels that you like. Use Canvas brand kit to update the colors and fonts to your brand them drop those questions and your helpful answers into the slides. I suggest 5 per carousel which will result in your being able to produce three carousels in one session. SAVE this as a brand template for next time. Canva templates used with BRAND KIT make it possible to never have to start from scratch!
Step 3: Schedule & Scale. Schedule your carousels. My strategy is to schedule from Facebook planner to Facebook and Instagram at the same time. Regardless of your thoughts on social media simply publishing on a consistent basis on both platforms will feed AI Agents the "SIGNALS" they need to find your brand trustworthy. Space them out 7-8 days apart, and schedule. That sets you content strategy up right away with a post a week!
Step 4: Repurpose for Maximum Reach. Turn those exact Q&As into SEO-friendly blog posts to boost your website traffic alongside your social presence. That's right! You have real time pain points for your niche, use Gemini or Chat GPT to expand those Q&A's into blog posts. Request the post be a minimum of 600 words, include your personal helpful nuggets to ensure the post has your point of view and voice. Ask for the post to include a focus keyword in the title and that the post include H2 tags that ask questions the post content answers. Then PROOF READ and adjust as much as needed to avoid publishing AI slop! AI is a tool for brainstorming, editing, focus and time saving not a replacement for your point of view.
Consistently publishing useful content is how you go from invisible online to impossible to ignore.
I have included my slides as an example of workflow in action! ➡️ If you do not already follow Adam Mosseri, current head of Instagram you should go do that right now. None of the heavy hitters on these platforms address the public except Adam. In fact, Adam answers users questions almost daily and always covers new tools and debunks Instagram myths on the regular. https://www.instagram.com/mosseri/
